The tourist tax is a city tax; it is invested in various facilities and events that benefit tourists and therefore also serves to maintain the tourist infrastructure and environment.

HOTEL BOOKING
Book through our DBM and automatically receive a -€5 discount per night and room.
To make a binding booking, a credit card is mandatory.

CANCELLATION POLICY
General Cancellation Fees according to “DEHOGA” German Hotel and Restaurant Association.
INCLUDED / NATO / Standard Rate:
- Guests can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
- In case of cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival, the guest will be charged 80% of the total price.
- In case of a no-show, the guest will be charged the total booking price.
EVENT Rate:
- Guests can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.
- In case of cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival, the guest will be charged 100% of the total price.
- In case of a no-show, the guest will be charged the total booking price.
RECEPTION
Check in/out
- Check-in: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m
- Late check-in: via keybox – Please call in advance to receive the PIN code!!!
- Check-out: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m
Pre-check-in & digital registration form
The registration form is required according to the Bavarian Registration Law and must be completed before or upon arrival.
Front door key (keycard)
From 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. the main entrance is closed and can only be used as an exit. Please take the keycard with you, when you leave the house.
The door opener is to the left of the main entrance. To open the front door, simply hold your keycard to the device!
For security reasons the loss of the room key must be reported immediately. In case of loss you will be charged €15.00.
Extra services on request
Pillow selection/extra blanket, daily towel change, baby cots that can be delivered, range of hygiene products, bathrobe and slippers, umbrella rental, ticket service and iPad rental.
Ironing board, iron
We will be happy to provide you with an ironing board and iron upon request.
Pets
Unfortunately, dogs and pets are currently not allowed in our hotel. Sorry!
GUEST CARD
The card is available at reception upon request.
With the Ammergauer Alpen guest card you can use local public transport, including buses and trains, in the region free of charge. This makes it easy to explore the area without having to worry about transportation costs!
In addition to free use of public transport, the guest card also offers discounts on a variety of activities and attractions, such as: E.g. cable cars, concerts and museums. Some of the participating partners even offer free entry to cardholders.

Deposit fee
Sustainability is important to us – that’s why the Oberammergau guest cards are reusable!
The guest cards have a valuable interior: a chip that allows you to travel on the bus. In order to protect the environment, the chip cards are used multiple times. For this reason, a deposit of €2/card will be charged.
After return at departure (reception) the deposit will be refunded.

The breakfast room is on the ground floor.

Please inform us early enough, so that we can organize everything for you right on time. As we do not have all replacement products in stock. Thank you very much!

The nearest restaurants in Oberammergau are just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, advance reservation is recommended!

The sauna can be booked for a maximum of 1 hour/room after prior registration. A registration list is available at reception.
SKI / BIKE STORAGE
Ski storage
Store your equipment in the dedicated ski room. In the racks/stands you will find enough space for skis or snowboard, shoes, poles, helmet, gloves, etc.
The ski room is located in the basement of the hotel.
Bicycle storage
Perfect starting point for e-bike tours in Oberammergau. Lockable bicycle garage & if necessary, e-bikes and bicycles can be rented. Special holiday arrangements for e-bikers and cycling holidaymakers.
The bicycle garage is located at the back of the hotel (backyard)
